DAMON CROWDY FOUNDATION
I established the nonprofit organization in my late brother's name, Damon Crowdy, to commemorate his life and honor his extraordinary legacy of compassion and kindness. Throughout his life, he touched the lives of countless people through his unwavering dedication to helping others. His spirit of selflessness and his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children, adolescents, and adults served as a powerful inspiration for our family and the community.
In setting up the Damon Crowdy Foundation, I wanted to ensure that his work and values continue to live on, creating a lasting and meaningful impact on the causes that were dear to his heart. By channeling his compassion and empathy, we aim to make a difference in the lives of those who need support, care, and empowerment the most.
Through this nonprofit, we strive to uphold his legacy by extending a helping hand to those in need, providing opportunities for growth and development, and fostering a sense of community and belonging. Our vision is to carry forward his spirit of giving and to create a positive ripple effect in the lives of individuals, families, and communities that will endure for generations to come.

Get to Know Damon Crowdy
Damon DeWayne Crowdy, passed away at age 40 due to heart failure at Harbor Hospital. He bravely battled kidney failure and underwent dialysis treatments. Damon pursued his academic endeavors at Trinity International University in Miami, Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He was on the brink of completing his Master's degree at the same institution.
Professionally, Damon served as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, utilizing his skills to assist others in finding their paths. However, beyond his career, Damon was deeply involved in spiritual community outreach and Christian street ministry. He dedicated his time as a youth pastor at Sanctuary Ministries. Damon was known for establishing and leading regular prayer services within the community, demonstrating his fluency in Spanish and his commitment to helping others. He spearheaded numerous initiatives to aid the homeless population, earning admiration as a true embodiment of compassion. Damon's generosity knew no bounds; he was known to give the clothes off his own back to those in need.
Damon Crowdy's legacy is one of selflessness and service to others. His impact on the lives of many will be cherished and remembered for years to come.
